IELTS Task 1 – Writing about Tables

By | December 29, 2013
When writing about a table, it can be difficult to find trends to write about. However, there are always four points you can talk about for any table. They are highest, lowest, similar and different.
Here is a table about the net worth of the top richest actors.

Highest
Dina Merril’s net worth is highest at 5 billion dollars.

Lowest
Julia Roberts has the lowest net worth of the actors listed, with 170 million dollars.

Similar
Bill Cosby and Johny Depp have the same net worth of 400 million dollars.

Different
There is a vast difference in net worth of the third and fourth richest actors, Jamie Gertz  and Jacqueline Gold, worth 2 billion dollars and 860 million dollars, respectively.

Now, try the task yourself! Feel free to post your answer in the comments and I will try my best to give feedback.
