25 IELTS Speaking Questions to Practice & Build Your Confidence

For Part 2 & Part 3

Here are 25 speaking topics to practice on your own or with a friend. These are Part 2 and Part 3 questions.

In Part 2, you prepare your answer for one minute. Then you must speak for 1-2 minutes only.

When  you practice Part 2 questions, time yourself with your mobile phone. Set the timer for 2 minutes and speak. You must speak for at least one minute.

After you finish Part 2 practice, do Part 3.

In Part 3, you answer questions from the same topic as Part 2.

Practice answering the Part 3 questions right after you do Part 2.

Practice 1-2 questions each day. In a week, you will be a pro!

1 – FAMOUS PERSON

PART 2

Describe a famous person that you admire.

You should say

  • who the person is
  • what the person is famous for
  • how this person influenced you

and explain why you admire this person.
