South Korean actress and model Jung Chae-yul found dead in her home aged 26

The death of South Korean actress and model Jung Chae-yul, at the age of 26, has been confirmed. It was announced by her agency Management S team, who shared a statement with the Korean press on Tuesday, April 11.

The agency also revealed that her funeral will be held quietly and privately based on the wishes of her family. They also urged the public to refrain from spreading rumors and speculative reports about her cause of death, as it is yet to be announced.

Jung Chae-yul was best known for her role in the Netflix series Zombie Detective and had other credits in K-drama series I Have Not Done My Best and the film Deep. She was set to appear in the TV series Wedding Impossible, which has suspended production following the tragedy.

The CEO of Chae-Yul’s management agency was tearfully interviewed and praised her as a hardworking and talented individual. Her fans have been expressing their grief and sharing tributes to the late star on her Instagram page.
