Music Icon Elton John, 76, Hospitalized After Fall at French Villa

British musician Elton John, aged 76, was hospitalized on Sunday night, August 27, following a fall at his villa in Nice.

The music legend was taken to the orthopedic department of the Princess Grace Hospital Center in Monaco for examination.

A representative for Elton confirmed to MailOnline on Monday morning that he was discharged and is now back at home in ‘good health.’

In a statement, it was confirmed that Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure after a slip at his home in the south of France.

Following checkups, he was immediately discharged and is now back at home and in good health.

According to a source in Nice, he had a small domestic accident at his villa in Mont-Boron, was hospitalized in the orthopedic department of the Princess Grace Hospital, and was only slightly injured.
