John Terry Praises Chelsea Star’s Debut Performance in EPL

Alfie Gilchrist has received high praise from Chelsea legend John Terry, who believes the young talent is poised to become a future star at Stamford Bridge.

Terry was full of admiration for Gilchrist following the centre-back’s impressive Premier League debut in Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old made his professional debut as a late substitute for Benoit Badiashile.

In his remarks to Daily Mail, Terry expressed, “Alfie Gilchrist is a tremendously talented player with an exceptional attitude. Having been with the club since the age of eight, he consistently demonstrates outstanding performance and dedication. I believe he has a promising future ahead.”

Terry also suggested, “We have discussed the potential of young players going out on loan, and I think Alfie’s next step should be a loan spell next season to assess his progress.
