The discovery of the body of a 15-year-old girl, who was accused of luring a British boy to his death in Thailand, has been made. The victim, Woramet Ben Taota, was fatally beaten after meeting with a notorious drug dealer, Chaiwat Boongarin, near his home in Lampang’s northern province.
The British boy, aged 16, was enticed to the location by 15-year-old Suraphltchaya Khamsa, who had befriended the 44-year-old convict as part of a malicious ploy. They were last spotted riding off together on Ben’s motorbike, and his remains were found the following day in a nearby wooded area.
The perpetrator, known as Wat, admitted to killing Ben but initially denied knowledge of Suraphltchaya Khamsa’s whereabouts. There was an extensive search for her, with her family believing she was alive but held against her will. However, it was revealed that her body was found buried in woodland close to the main highway near Lampang.
The couple’s devastated parents expressed their anguish and mentioned that their son fell into a honey trap set by the young girl.
