Rapper Desiigner faces charges for exposing and masturbating on airplane

Desiigner, the American rapper known for his hit “Panda,” has been accused of indecent exposure and masturbating on a flight from Tokyo to Minneapolis.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Minnesota revealed the misdemeanor charge against Sidney Royel Selby III, also known as Desiigner.

Allegedly, during a first-class Delta flight on April 17, Selby exposed himself on multiple occasions and masturbated in his seat after being provoked by a flight attendant.

Upon being informed of his violation of federal law, Selby relocated to the back of the aircraft, where two companions monitored him.

Following the flight’s landing, an FBI agent interviewed him at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Shortly thereafter, Desiigner shared that he had checked into a hospital due to inappropriate behavior on the plane.

“For the past few months, I have not been ok, and I have been struggling to come to terms with what is going on. While oversears for a concert I performed at, I had to be admitted into a hospital.

“I was not thinking clearly. They gave me meds, and I had to hop on a plane home,” he said.

He added: “I am ashamed of my actions that happened on that plane. I landed back to the states, am am admitting my self [sic] in a facility to help me.”
