“I am deeply saddened by the unfortunate crash of the Nigerian Air Force MI-171 Helicopter during a casualty evacuation mission near Chukuba Village in Niger State,” he said.

“The alarming level of insecurity in many parts of the country disappoints us and has resulted in the loss of precious lives and properties, causing significant economic consequences. My thoughts are with the families of the courageous soldiers who perished in this incident.

“I also extend my sincere condolences to the Nigerian Air Force for this heartbreaking tragedy. I encourage them and other security agencies to view these challenges as opportunities to create a safer nation.

“Moreover, I strongly advocate for a comprehensive investigation into the crash to uncover its cause and prevent similar occurrences in the future.
