Fatal Accident Claims Two Lives in Ondo
Tragically, two individuals have lost their lives in a fatal road accident that occurred at the Olokuta axis of the Akure-Ondo highway in Ondo state.
At around 7:00 p.m., a commercial vehicle collided with a Honda Accord car, resulting in the accident.
An eyewitness who was present at the scene stated that excessive speed was the cause of the accident.

According to the eyewitness, one of the drivers lost control of their vehicle before colliding with the oncoming vehicle from the Ondo end of the highway.
The Federal Road Safety Corps in the state confirmed the accident, reporting two fatalities and five injuries.

Ezekiel SonAllah, the Sector Commander, revealed that six male adults and one female adult were involved in the crash.
“The accident involved a Nissan Primera commercial vehicle with the registration number FGB-96XA and a Honda Accord car with the registration number MUS-834 AL.
“Two male adults lost their lives at the scene, while four male adults and one female adult sustained injuries,” SonAllah stated.
SonAllah further mentioned that the bodies of the deceased have been transported to the mortuary of the Ondo State Specialist Hospital in Akure, while the injured individuals have been taken to the healthcare facility for treatment.
