Actor Devin Ratray from Home Alone Accused of Sexual Assault in New York
Devin Ratray, known for his role as Buzz McCallister in Home Alone, has been accused of raping a woman in New York.
The alleged victim, Lisa Smith, claimed that the actor assaulted her at his Manhattan apartment in 2017, and she believes that he drugged her before the incident.
Notably, Ratray was arrested last year on domestic violence charges unrelated to this incident, where he was accused of attempting to strangle his then-girlfriend. He was released on a $25,000 bond and pleaded not guilty.

Smith contacted the police after learning about Ratray’s arrest, expressing her concern that her case against him had not been pursued. It was revealed that the case was closed due to a misunderstanding about her willingness to press charges.
According to CNN, Smith and Ratray had been friends for over a decade before the alleged incident in September 2017.

Smith recounted that they had met for drinks with her brother and another friend before going to Ratray’s apartment. She claimed that Ratray gave her a specific glass of drink, after which she felt exhausted and was encouraged to spend the night.
She described waking up unable to move or open her eyes, and alleged that Ratray sexually assaulted her before leaving her on the couch.
When Smith confronted Ratray via text messages the next day, he denied the assault, claiming that he was impotent. Following the incident, she cooperated with the police, providing her clothes for DNA testing.
A spokesperson from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office confirmed that they are in contact with the survivor and expressed their commitment to taking sexual assault seriously.
Ratray has denied all allegations, stating that they did not have intercourse, and as of now, he has not been charged.
